Lopez & Associates, Inc. is an independently owned, family-operated, woman- and minority-owned professional photocopy and process services company. Founded in 2005 and supported by industry experience dating to 1988, we help legal professionals obtain, preserve, organize, and securely access the information needed to properly develop and evaluate a case.
A case cannot be fully understood without the underlying record. Its strengths, weaknesses, causation issues, damages, treatment history, prior conditions, and potential defenses are often found in documents that have not yet been obtained or meaningfully reviewed.
That is why we believe effective discovery should be available to everyone participating in the legal process.

As an independent deposition officer and professional photocopier, we provide neutral third-party handling of subpoenaed business records. Our responsibility remains the same regardless of who places the order: protect the integrity of the record, document its receipt and handling, and provide authorized access securely and accurately.

Records procurement involves much more than transmitting a subpoena or authorization. It requires identifying the correct custodian, understanding the applicable procedure, tracking deadlines, navigating healthcare systems and release-of-information companies, and recognizing when a production may be incomplete.
Our work includes medical, billing, radiology, pharmacy, employment, insurance, governmental, educational, and other business records. We coordinate requests throughout California, across the United States, and, when needed, with providers and custodians outside the country.
We understand that receiving some records is not the same as receiving the complete record.
